sGE has just reached the version 3.4 line, hurray for most of us but it’s just more labour for me. Lots of things to be written out or updated, I’m really at a loss here. On the other hand, it seems we’re catching up to kGE at a rather suitable pace. The only unfortunate region that doesn’t share the fortune with us is SOTNW, who is apparently still stuck at the first half of the version 2.9 update.

Inviardeco, Elite 96 Series (Scout)
Since 3.4 has arrived, we aren’t really far from the 3.5 updates. They will be here definitely sometime this year going by the rate of updates nowadays. One of the prime features of version 3.5 are the elite 96 armours series. Shown above is one of the the armours for the scouts, Inviardeco.

It seems like IMC maybe trying to close the gap between the ELN, ELB users and everything else below. In case you didn’t know, the elite 96 series share the same DR with the Le Noir and in some way or another, they are more easily obtainable. And I mean by without having to wait your turn by partcipating in raids/TAs, some of the common sources where Le Noir recipes drop.
The current known area where the elite 96 recipes drop are by an exclusive new ancient territory dungeon, only available in version 3.5.04. I am currently unsure if they drop anywhere else for now, without further ado – a brief introduction…
i) 天上のセデクレム

The name of the dungeon has a nice ring to it, this is the Japanese version though. As you can, the Korean one is really long. The name translate to something in comparable to Heaven/Sky and not surpringly, the location is in a high level map; Chaos Requiem.

The mobs in the new AT are really strong and consist of mostly lifeless race and hard armour, and they’re really no pushover. I’m not sure if one is actually able to afk within, but from most kGE screenshots I’ve seen, you really need to be fully buffed and spamming skills to survive. The mobs are all expert levels, you’ll need at least a minimum of 60 DR to ensure it doesn’t hurt that much.
Being of a higher expert level, it also means the rate of EXP gained is definitely more than the current Bahamas Underground AT. Higher level also comes better drops, the boss especially, drops a sack of goodies which is worth the time and effort to hunt but it is no pushover.

Remember me…?
The mother loots dropped by this Great Hill Giant boss are Dragonheart recipes, the elite 96 series and constellation symbols (it doesn’t specifically state what or which symbol, so I’m assuming it can drop all). Here are the stats for the GHG boss, you’ll definitely need a party to take it down.

67 AR/DR, yay or nay?
I have no resources at the moment if it shares the same characteristics as it’s gatekeeper counterpart.
ii) Crafting
So now you got the recipe, what’s next?

If you have been bulking a load of Katovic mobs miscellaneous drops – PLEASE do still hold on to them. You’ll definitely need them for this and the quest is repeatable.
iii) Armour stats
Armour stats are as followed, with a base DR of 29 for all.
Fighters/Scouts: 187 DEF
Musketeer/Wizard/Elementalist: 160 DEF
Managed to dig up the DEF comparison with Le Noirs:
Fighters/Scouts: 190 DEF
Musketeer/Wizard/Elementalist: 163 DEF
Basically, it’s only a 3 DEF difference, whether if that’s important is up to the individual.
And like Le Noirs, these armours are only Veteran exclusive. Any level lower is unable to equip them.
iv) Miscellaenous
For a complete view of how all the armours look like, please refer to Reno’s thread at the GE forums: http://forum.iahgames.com/ge/showthread.php?t=56263
And yes, I would like to point out that the Elite 96 series are available in costume versions as well. To make a choice between the Elite 96 Series or the Le Noirs, it’s really a matter of availability, price and looks here. Personally, I would stick to the Elite 96 series though, looks appeal more to me and they do look more unique than the Le Noir.
Fighter LN has DEF 190. So it seems to have a bit more DEF than 96e.

Larg,
LN wizard has DEF 163. So it’s the same as e96 armor’s base DEF.

I like this, I hope it really is more “easily obtainable” than the le noirs. Dilos hates me. Anyway, that picture, the scout armour and hairstyle, holy cow, that’s really awesome looking!

It drops in the new paid dungeon as a recipe, I suppose in terms of obtaining it is easier. The other sources where LN recipe drops usually requires waiting your turn by bidding for raid loot – as the way you obtain raid items in a faction etc.

With the exception of Silver Bars, everything else should be easily obtainable at this stage.

Silver Bars are available in Item Dealer for 50k vis each. Unless the silver bar here refers to another item?

Thanks for pointing that out, I don’t really look too much in detail on the item dealer.
